Tom preaching

Current mood: contemplative

Mornin, well last night i had to preach at church / give my testimoney, despite the usual yawns i think it went ok, It is hard to know what they get out thanks to my accent and foreign language, most of them learn from north american teachers, so i try to claim i know a different sort of English.
I decided to do my testimoney espeacially my uni life and experiances since equador, encouraging them and also had a bit from the bible acts 20 as my favorite section , as if i was writing the bible i would have probably missed it out.
but it makes a funny story, especially if you take it from either paul's or Eutychus point of view

Eutychus Raised From the Dead at Troas
7On the first day of the week we came together to break bread. Paul spoke to the people and, because he intended to leave the next day, kept on talking until midnight. 8There were many lamps in the upstairs room where we were meeting. 9Seated in a window was a young man named Eutychus, who was sinking into a deep sleep as Paul talked on and on. When he was sound asleep, he fell to the ground from the third story and was picked up dead. 10Paul went down, threw himself on the young man and put his arms around him. "Don't be alarmed," he said. "He's alive!" 11Then he went upstairs again and broke bread and ate. After talking until daylight, he left. 12The people took the young man home alive and were greatly comforted.

but they were reasonable socialble afterwards, i was only given 28 hours anyway to prepare and had a birthday party the night before to go to. so i dont think i did too bad.

I also have a new flatmate, a black hairball called midnight, who seems to only eat food that i have my eye on, 10 Tugrek notes and random napkins, where he finds such things in my flat i dont know.
I tried trapping him in the kitchen but i found out today someone has removed the glass in the kitchen door making it a bit useless!
Weather wise it is getting warmer, building's still tend to have a snow/ice shadow but everywhere else is getting better which makes walking the dog less tricky although she seems to spend most walking time trying to get inside other apartment blocks so not quite warm eneough yet.

Well have a good weekend

Tom
